Each year we choose a charity to support and this year we have decided to support Cancer Research UK.
Too many lives have been affected by cancer and although research in treatments has come a long way much yet remains to be done. The impact of COVID-19 has resulted in a significant reduction in donations made to charitable causes in the past year.
1 in 2 people will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime and support for continued research is therefore crucial. We believe many forms of cancer are treatable and we are keen to support this very worthy charity not least because several of those working here have lost family through cancer.
Throughout the course of the year we hope to organise and run various events in support of the charity and further details will be posted on our website and facebook page in due course.
