We would like to extend our congratulations to Briege Martin, who as an established member of the Children Order Panel accredited by the Law Society of Northern Ireland, has recently been appointed as a member of the Northern Ireland Guardian ad litem Agency (NIGALA) Solicitor Panel, ‘ A Voice for Children and Young People in Family Courts’. Briege is therefore one of a limited number of Solicitors in Northern Ireland who has demonstrated the expertise and skills to represent children in public law proceedings either on instruction from NIGALA or directly from the child when the child is deemed to be competent.
